Sorry, but this makes me really mad. You aren't superior to them, in any RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing way or form. A really good friend of mine is going through the problem of drugs, he an excellent basketball player and he can't go out for it this year because he has NA meetings. I support him as much as I can, but people like you like to throw him on his ass and say he's worthless.

Please, close this thread.

How can anyone honestly want to smoke them while knowing/not knowing what they are putting into their system?

How can anyone honestly want to drive a car knowing that it is slowly killing the whole of the human race?

No way, this is the only good thread on Riverside right now. You know, that kind that actually starts a DISCUSSION and not some useless crap like WITCH RACE WHOOPS CLASS YOU PICKED FIRST?!

Well when it gets down to it. It really is the persons choice to take the risk of taking drugs and that even counts risking the social stigma/dislike that can come from it.

I've only once been in a situation where guildies were discussing heroin. I left vent, told the leader, and a few hours later they were kicked.

I have absolutely no respect for the people that use the harder drugs (ecstasy, heroin, etc.). It's stupid and they have absolutely no right to tell the entire guild what they do in real life.

Have absolutely no problem with it... although i dont like harddrugs, only thing they can do is make your life fun for 2 years and destroy the rest of it. But if they want to talk about their lives, why not. I rather have people talking about what they did that day, ie smoking, drinking, whatever, then people talking about how awesome GW is and how noobish everything else is... GW is fun to play, but it becomes more fun with social contacts.
PS: Seriously, i dont know what you mean fallen, explain please...

If the things your guild/alliance talks about offends you, ask them not to talk about it. If that's not going to happen and you have a real problem with it, maybe it's time to find a new one.

I'm in for closing this thread. I believe at this point we can give up any hope for a civilized discussion.

I disagree that they have "no right" but some things should stay off Guild Wars. Just so long they don't break any ToS/EULA rules they are in the green to talk about what they want if it is not against the rules of your guild.

As people haven't realised, Fallen meant People shouldn't be talking about drugs they use to their guild. Not real life in general.

I see no problem with that, seriously. It doesn't hurt anyone in any way.

Retaking the main topic I have never got on a guild that used to talk about using drugs, in four years none. So a rainbowy and pinkish life for me.

Does you example implies everyday chat about using drugs? or they casually talk about using drugs?

Tolerance in this is FTW, but if you don't feel comfortable just get out.

Casual chatting is OK, as long it is not the main topic that bounds together the guild or alliance, do you catch my throw?
If I join a guild with other topics in its schedule other than enjoying the game itself IMO it is not worth it.

I didn't came to play guildwars to talk about the new politics of Obama or how the world is changing, or how much I drug myself or how many times a week I have sex, I came to this to play and being social about it.

Other than that can be accomplished on any chat on the web.

Anyone making attack posts in this thread is an utter retard, and the posts are way too out of context of the point of the thread.
Here's an analogy to sum up how this is going:

You ask opinions and give yours --> People take it as a complaint and start attacking you because you don't like your opinion --> It turns into a debate thread on drugs.

Though on the topic of drugs, this is off-topic on the guild wars aspect of gathering opinions.

But just for the argument, congratulations! If you approve of others slipping hallucinogens in someone pizza, you sir' are part of our modern world's biggest problems!!

Either way, this is getting inappropriate.
